Position on the All-American Format of Play
NYFC was founded in 2005 to provide boys and girls in
Mendon, Upton and the surrounding communities with the opportunity to
participate in football and cheerleading in a safe and highly instructional
environment. From its inception, NYFC has subscribed to the following simple
governing principles:
- Safety,
- Fun,
- Sportsmanship,
and
- Full

There has been an enthusiastic response to the formation of a youth football program for Mendon and Upton. Many parents are being asked for the first time by their children to play youth football. Some parents may be asking themselves "will they get hurt"? This article briefly discusses the incidence of injuries in youth football and presents links for current research on this topic.

Nipmuc Youth Football and Cheerleading is a member of the Central Massachusetts Youth Football and Cheer Conference . .
NYFC and our Conference are members of American Youth Football and Cheer. American Youth Football, Inc., established in 1996, is an international youth football organization established to promote the wholesome development of youth through their association with adult leaders in the sport of American football. Rules and regulations are established to ensure that players play in an atmosphere of safety with a competitive balance between teams. American Youth Football is on a mission to GIVE BACK to the community.
The NFL recognizes this firm commitment and AYF has been made a national youth partner of the National Football League.
